NEW OPEN EDITION “BABY FINGER UP” Riso Print poster by Georgina Cook.
From her SHIT SHOW series.
Available on dark pink or light pink.
A defiant moment of pure punk energy captured at its most innocent.
This A3 risograph print captures my baby mid-breastfeed on the beach at Pett, casually throwing up a middle finger.
A tiny act of rebellion in the most tender of moments.
Printed in vibrant green ink on hot pink paper, the colour clash perfectly matches the cheeky, punk attitude of the image. The high-contrast riso process gives it a bold, DIY aesthetic that could belong on a gig poster as much as in a nursery.

Garage Typology is from a series of images taken at Elephant & Castle's Heygate Estate just before its destruction in 2012. Except for a few artists and gardeners occupying the space, the estate was all but abandoned by that point - with traces of its former residents evident largely in graffiti and signs, as seen in this print.
Comprised of 12 individual images of Garages that existed side by side, the print honours the existence of the displaced residents of the Heygate estate.
Named Garage Typology, it echoes the typological work of photographers Bernd & Hiller Becher while also playing on Georgina's love of contemporary dance music and the collective rhythm and expression of the Garage doors.
A percentage of this image will be donated to local community groups in Southwark.

Transition is the holy grail of mastering for the bass community. I love this image as it me it represents the very source of the early Dubstep sound. I documented Transition Mastering House for FACT Magazine a few years back. But this image was captured on film even before that.
