Hastings Town of Culture
It was recently announced that Hastings will bid to become the UK’s 2028 Town of Culture. As a long-time resident, this feels like a really exciting opportunity to show, share and build on the creative and cultural vibrancy of the town. As a Hastings-based photographer and artist, I’ve had the pleasure of being involved in or documenting many of the great events and projects here. From the Hastings annual Jack In The Green celebration to sound arts, live music in local pubs and studios, street art with children, drag and independent film, the diversity of arts and culture in the town is impressive and surely gives Hastings a great chance of winning the bid.
